Charlize Thum brings over 17 years of experience in high-net-worth client advisory and more than 5 years of expertise in cross-border healthcare and wellness integration. She specializes in medical coordination, healthcare resource integration, and cross-border strategic planning, supporting individuals and families with complex, multi-jurisdictional healthcare and long-term planning needs.

 

She currently serves as Director of Global HealthyWay Sdn Bhd, where she oversees medical tourism initiatives, hospital collaborations, and cross-border healthcare coordination between Malaysia and China. She also holds a directorship at IFEA (M) Sdn Bhd, contributing to financial governance, strategic oversight, and organizational capability development in support of healthcare-related and professional platforms.

 

With a strong background in financial planning, risk management, and long-term legacy strategy, Charlize provides a holistic leadership perspective in aligning medical services, health protection frameworks, and sustainable long-term planning. She has managed high-value client portfolios exceeding RM50 million and plays a key role in bridging healthcare, wellness, and cross-border strategic ecosystems at the group level.

Richard Ooi

CEO

Richard Ooi has been engaged in financial planning and integrated management since 1999, with over 25 years of professional experience across multi-sector platforms. His work spans the integration of healthcare, real estate, insurance, and wealth management, supporting the evolution of diversified and scalable service ecosystems.

 

At the group level, Richard plays a key role in long-term strategic planning and resource integration, with a particular focus on the international expansion of healthcare and wellness initiatives. Guided by a forward-looking and global perspective, he actively supports cross-border healthcare collaborations, facilitating the adoption of international medical expertise, technologies, and management practices.

 

Through his strategic involvement, AGH Group continues to strengthen its presence across regional and international markets, enhancing the Group’s competitiveness and long-term sustainability within the healthcare and wellness sector.

Dr Jasmine Lee

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Jasmine is an accomplished physician, holding an MBBS (First Class Honours) from AIMST University, Malaysia, with a specialization in oncology and regenerative medicine. She currently serves as Chief Medical Officer at AGH Group and as Medical Consultant at Tulips Regenesis (Malaysia), while also contributing to 23 Century International Life Science Centre in the areas of stem cell and NK cell therapies.

 

Dr. Jasmine expertise includes advanced oncology care, multidisciplinary team (MDT) consultations, and regenerative therapies such as MSC, exosomes, and NK cell treatments, as well as intra-articular joint therapies. Dr. Jasmine is committed to personalized patient care and to bridging international medical innovations with local clinical practice.

Shermine Chong

Director of Medical Operations

Shermine Chong, with a strong foundation in corporate finance, risk governance, and healthcare operations, and over a decade of professional experience supporting regional and cross-border healthcare initiatives. She has led medical operations coordination, hospital partnerships, and patient access pathways across multiple international markets, overseeing complex healthcare projects that involve multidisciplinary teams, institutional stakeholders, and cross-border service delivery. Her experience spans operational planning, risk management, and healthcare project execution, supporting scalable and sustainable healthcare platforms.

 

By integrating her expertise in medical operations, financial oversight, and international project coordination, Shermine plays a key role in advancing the Group’s global healthcare partnerships, strengthening cross-border patient care frameworks, and supporting the organization’s international growth strategy.

Jessie Low

Director of Marketing

Jessie Low with a strong foundation in finance and risk management and over four years of experience at the intersection of healthcare and finance. She has led marketing and business development initiatives for advanced medical technologies across Asia, while also providing personalized risk and insurance advisory services.

 

By bridging healthcare innovation, financial insight, and strategic marketing, Jessie supports informed decision-making for both individuals and organizations. Her work focuses on creating long-term value by aligning health and wealth strategies with the Group’s broader regional and international growth objective.

Jolene Kiew

Regional Head Coordinator

Jolene Kiew brings over 10 years of experience in life insurance advisory and more than 5 years of hands-on experience in will and trust planning. She is experienced in delivering end-to-end service support, covering pre-engagement planning, implementation, and post-service coordination, with a strong emphasis on service quality and long-term client relationships.

 

In addition, Jolene has extensive experience in agency network coordination and large-scale event execution, where she responsible for the planning, organization, and facilitation of major meetings, seminars, and regional activities. Her work demonstrates strong capabilities in organizational management, communication, and stakeholder coordination.

 

Within the AGH Group, Jolene supports teams in streamlining service workflows and coordinates regional offline seminars and engagement sessions, contributing to the effective rollout of AGH’s projects, technologies, and initiatives across multiple regions.

Doreen Ooi

Regional Project Manager

Doreen Ooi is a healthcare consultant and researcher holding an MSc in Health Psychology from the University of Portsmouth (United Kingdom). She also completed her Bachelor of Psychology studies (First and Second Year) at HELP University Malaysia, establishing a strong academic foundation in psychology and patient-centered care. She has involved in clinical collaboration initiatives with Hygeia Hospital (China) and has served as a Stem Cell Therapy Consultant at 23 Century International Life Science Centre, specializing in regenerative medicine solutions.

 

With her background in health psychology and holistic patient support, Doreen integrates medical innovation with compassionate care, contributing to regional healthcare projects that ensure patients receive both advanced treatment options and clear, empathetic guidance throughout their healthcare journey.

Project Manager

Evelyn Choy has over 12 years of experience in the health and wellness sector and currently serves as Project Manager under AGH Group, with a focus on cell banking and longevity initiatives. Pristine Looi is a Health Screening & Preventive Care Consultant with a multidisciplinary background spanning healthcare management, nutrition, and patient-centered advisory. She has extensive experience advising clients on personalized health screening packages, as well as supporting patients with existing conditions in exploring integrative and advanced medical therapies including precision oncology planning, cardiac rehabilitation, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, Al-assisted physiotherapy, and cell-based therapies.

He holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science and Business and a Master of Professional Counselling from Monash University Malaysia, with over 650 hours of supervised clinical internship experience.

 

As a two-time cancer survivor of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, Han Seng has personally undergone chemotherapy and radiotherapy, giving him deep insight into the physical, emotional, and psychological challenges faced by patients and families. He works closely with patients, caregivers, nurses, and doctors in Malaysia, providing psychological support, emotional guidance, and continuity of care throughout the treatment journey.
